The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran has awarded the project of development of Metro link from Sikanderpur Station to NH-8 to the Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon Limited (RMGL) after getting the approval of the Council of Ministers in its meeting held on 13.07.2009 on the terms and conditions which, inter-alia, include the following:

i. The total cost of the project will be borne by the RMGL.

ii. The land for right of way and depot will be allotted by HSVP on lease hold basis.

iii. The RMGL will pay the connectivity charges to HSVP and share with HSVP the revenue generated from advertisement rights and property development.
