In order to provide Metro connectivity to the residents of old Gurugram, DMRC has been appointed as the Consultant for conducting the feasibility study vide letter dated 20.01.2016. As per schedule given in the terms & conditions of consultancy conveyed by the DMRC vide letter dated 13.11.2015, draft report shall be submitted within five months after the payment of mobilization fee. The fee for conducting feasibility study is Rs 10 lakh plus service tax. Vide letter dated 24.02.2016, DMRC has demanded mobilization fee amounting to Rs 5,72,500/- which has been released on 18.04.2016. The study is to be completed within 5 months from the date of release of Mobilization fee. Vide letter dated 08.08.2016 DMRC has been requested to conduct feasibility study of following two routes:

i. HUDA City Centre to Gurugram Railway Station via Subhash Chowk, Rajiv Chowk and New Colony Mor.

ii. HUDA City Centre to Dwarka should be via Subhash Chowk on Sohna road, Hero Honda Chowk, Sector 33, 34, 37 (which is major Industrial Hub), Sector 10 A, 10, 9, 9 A, ESI Hospital, the chowk of Sector-4 & 5 (covering the area of Railway Station and adjoining area,) Sector 23 and Dwarka-New Delhi.

Techno Feasibility study has been conducted by DMRC. RFP for preparation of DPR was floated on 16/07/2017. After following due procedure, the work for preparaton of DPR has been assigned to M/S RITES India Limited. After finalisation of DPR, further decisions regarding implementation of project, allocation of funds etc shall be taken by the Government.
